Francisco “Frankie G” Gonzalez is a Miami born multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the intersection of culture, identity, history, and place. Working across murals, painting, and dimensional objects, Gonzalez uses vivid color, symbolic imagery, and layered details to create work that invites viewers to look beyond the surface and discover the stories embedded within each piece.

Raised in Miami’s multicultural landscape, Gonzalez developed an early appreciation for the ways different cultures, traditions, and experiences come together to shape a community. That influence remains central to his practice today. His work often draws from the history and character of the places he paints, translating local stories into contemporary visual narratives centered on connection, resilience, and shared identity.

Gonzalez has created work for and collaborated with civic and cultural organizations including the City of Tampa, Creative Pinellas, the Lealman Community Redevelopment Area, and Visit St. Pete-Clearwater, as well as nationally recognized brands and organizations including the Miami HEAT, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Ducati, and ESPN. Across these collaborations, his work ranges from large-scale public murals and community-focused projects to pieces created for sports, entertainment, and commercial spaces.

At the heart of Gonzalez’s practice is a belief that art can create a stronger connection between people and the places they share. Whether working on a large-scale mural, painting, or three-dimensional piece, he approaches each project with curiosity and intention, creating visually compelling work that reflects its surroundings while offering viewers something new to discover.
